What can’t you live without? My Timbuk2 Linda bag! I have over two dozen Timbuk2 bags and Linda is by far my favorite. She’s lightweight, holds her shape and carries all of my daily items with ease.

What can’t you live without? My Northern Guard scarf and straight razor necklace. Those have to be worn at every Detroit City FC match.
What’s the most surprising thing you carry? Hundreds of pins at all times. My BFF Banshee and I run CityAfterDark. We are members of Northern Guard and we support Detroit City FC. We make and sell pins, patches and shirts. All funds go towards the tifo we make, the smoke bombs we use during the season and charities we support. CityAfterDark is operated out of my Timbuk2 bag.

I recently won this bag and its contents by being nominated as a 'tech hero' by the folks at Carpathia - and it pretty much has all my bases covered. The backpack has a solid number of compartments - including a dedicated 15” laptop pouch, which is great because I like to keep things separated by function / texture. In here is a toolkit, a Moleskin notebook, a backup battery by Zoom, a Red Bull, Advil and some Tech Hero swag.
What can’t you live without? People/places to photograph and tell stories about.
What’s the most surprising thing you carry? Old fashioned paper books / notebooks. After looking at screens all day, I love reading a paper book and often take the most memorable notes in real, paper notebooks.
